The Brief
To design an Open Day experience which changes perceptions of the University of Birmingham,
The Strategy
Deliver a day that ‘opens up’ Birmingham like never before.
The Idea
Enable students to ‘collect’ their favourite elements of Birmingham, resulting in a personalised digital scrapbook to refer back to.
The Execution
B.U.
An engaging, tech-led experience which showcases the breadth and depth of culture in Birmingham - and enables prospective students to discover who they’d be at UOB.
The key mechanic of the experience is an RFID ‘B.U Card’. This seamless solution connects the experience and enables students to collect all the things they resonate with across the day. Resulting in a personalised, eclectic highlight reel which can be referred back to at any point in their decision process.
